BRIAN McQUEENIE

BIO
Born in Edinburgh, Scotland, Brian McQueenie was weaned on Scotch whisky at an early age. A natural storyteller, Brian is a gifted and charismatic presenter. Since 1999, he has shared his extensive knowledge and passion for “all things whisky” through private, corporate and fundraising whisky tasting events.
EXPERIENCE
Brian has represented whisky products for industry leaders such as Gordon & MacPhail (Benromach), Beam-Suntory and Charton-Hobbs Canada. With a background in Human Resources, Brian has delivered whisky presentations for companies such as RBC Dominion Securities and Bombardier Aerospace, and raised funds for Cancer Research, the MS Society of Ottawa and various other charities.
EDUCATION
Having mentored under Régis Lemaître and trained recently at four prominent distilleries in Scotland and Kentucky, USA, Brian’s goal is to inspire, educate and foster an interest in whisky and its vibrant heritage.

Theresa McGoldrick is the other half of the engaging Oui Dram equation. Born in Montreal, now living in Ottawa, Terry possesses more than a decade of experience in event planning as well as a BA from Wilfrid Laurier University.
EXPERIENCE
Her previous background in sales and marketing along with her remarkable enthusiasm and passion for her work has been instrumental in maintaining the success of Oui Dram over a 20-year period and resulted in the creation of a network of passionate whisky lovers and reciprocal and sustained partnerships with industry agents and distributors across the country.
Terry’s organizational skills, attention to detail, and commitment have earned her a reputation for unparalleled excellence as a whisky event planner.
